Julian Assange Has Balls The Size Of Antarctica
Unless you’re willing to be tortured in Chelsea Manning’s place, Assange is better than you.
Yesterday, Julian Assange reached over his continent-sized testicles and offered via Twitter to take Chelsea Manning’s place as the prisoner of a government that is known to torture whistleblowers.
“If Obama grants Manning clemency,” WikiLeaks tweeted, “Assange will agree to US extradition despite clear unconstitutionality of DoJ case.”
Manning is currently being made an example of to deter future American whistleblowers, serving a 35-year sentence under horrific conditions for giving thousands of documents revealing US war crimes to WikiLeaks. In 2011, a letter was signed by 295 legal scholars asserting that her treatment was in violation of her Eighth Amendment rights, saying the soldier was being “detained under degrading and inhumane conditions that are illegal and immoral.” In 2012 the UN special rapporteur on torture Juan E. Mendez formally accused the U.S. government of treatment that was “cruel, inhuman and degrading” to Manning.
A Gizmodo article titled “Why Solitary Confinement Is The Worst Kind Of Psychological Torture” says that solitary confinement can do irreversible psychological damage in as little as 15 days. Manning was in solitary confinement for nearly a year. In July of last year she attempted suicide to end the pain. As punishment for attempting to escape her psychological torment by ending her own life, she was sentenced to more solitary confinement. She attempted suicide a second time in October.
That’s what Assange is offering to step into, in order to save her. This was not even the first time he has made this offer, and yet pundits still dare to impugn this man’s character, often trying to paint him as, of all things, a coward.
Remember, these lily-livered desk jockeys make their living by writing things that consistently please their editors and advertisers. That’s how they’ve ascended the heady corporate journo ladder. They have never once even written something that would get them in trouble with anyone who had anything to do with their wages, let alone publish something that could get them tortured for years on end. Julian keeps publishing despite being held illegally under what amounts to house arrest and yet, these vanity journalists dare to imply that he is cowardly.
In the leadup to the election I read an infuriating Buzzfeed article being circulated by my liberal friends titled “Inside The Strange, Paranoid World Of Julian Assange,” which was authored by a man who had worked with Assange and clearly had an (unstated) agenda against him. The article mentioned anti-Semitism multiple times without ever actually leveling an accusation of anti-Semitism against Assange, a transparent attempt to cause readers to walk away from the article with the mistaken impression that Assange is an anti-Semite. It also tried to make the laughable case that Assange’s most significant days were behind him and that the latest leaks were a desperate attempt to “regain the spotlight,” when 2016 was very clearly the most visible WikiLeaks has ever been to date, with Assange arguably having a more significant impact on the world than anyone else on Earth that year.
This was just one example of the countless smear pieces that have targeted Assange in support of the American political establishment his releases helped upend. The Swedish sexual assault allegations, for which he has not even been charged, have been thrust again and again into the spotlight despite their lack of substance. A Clinton-linked attempt to smear him as a pedophile has been reported as fact on CNN and other outlets despite a clear Clinton tie to the accusation and a total absence of any evidence whatsoever. He has been smeared as a Kremlin stooge, a charlatan, and, hilariously, a traitor despite his being an Australian citizen with no loyalties to or relationship with the United States. His “motives” for sharing the truth with the world have been called into question again and again and again, as though shedding a light on the corruption and deceit of political power could ever be a bad thing.
Well what are his motives now, you yellow-bellied whiners? What are his motives for repeatedly offering to sacrifice himself to save the life of a suicidal American trans woman he has never even met? Is he doing so on Putin’s orders? Is he trying to “regain the spotlight”? Is it because a US federal prison is an ideal place for him to act out the sexual perversions you keep accusing him of?
Did I mention the American government tortures whistleblowers?
THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT TORTURES WHISTLEBLOWERS.
Tortures. Brutalizes them and drives them to suicide. This happens. This is a fact. That is the bullet this man you evil scumbags keep demonizing is trying to take for Chelsea Manning. What is he gaining from that? Huh?
Chelsea Manning was tortured. Not just wrongfully imprisoned. Not just victimized by Obama’s unprecedented war on whistleblowers despite repeated promises to create the most transparent administration in history. Tortured. That brave, gentle, intelligent mind was pummeled, tormented and humiliated by a brutal regime bent on killing government transparency and silencing anyone who tries to show the American people what what its government is up to. All because she wanted to do the right thing.
The reason why these payroll hack "journalists" consistently ascribe the wrong motives to these two people is because it would never ever ever occur to them to put themselves on the line for the highest interest. So they keep trying to explain what they’re seeing them do through their own terminally-selfish perception, and coming up blank.
Julian Assange is a hero. If our world’s leaders had his integrity, we’d have none of the problems we’re facing today. Shame on everyone who’s ever tried to slander him or diminish what he’s done for our world and for our species.
